Mockingjay Part One Movie!

Soooooo Who else is excited for the November 21st release date for MockingJay Part One? I am so pumped it is not even funny! I have it marked on my calender and am anticipating the midnight premier ticket release (have a couple months for that but who says I can't be excited now!) I will let you guys know the exact date and time of the ticket release when we get closer to the time! I want my avid readers to have the heads up and the inside scoop! So before I end this message I wanted to share my sad feelings towards Mr. Heavensbee's death. I am able to share a bit of happy news. Most of his parts were already filmed in both Mockingjay movies before his passing so it will not effect the films though it does effect our hearts! Please keep his family in your prayers and hold them in the light! Thank you guys!

Catching Fire Aftermath!

Okay guys. It has been forever since i posted something but here it goes! I want to talk about how accurate the new Catching Fire movie was! I was excitation with the new director Mr.Lawrence! He did a fabulous job keeping the story line exactly the same as the book's!
There were a few small problems which got on my nerves though. Peeta and Katniss for one. They did not seem to be fully, completely, and utterly in love during the Quarter Quell like they were in the book. The beach scene was less then par and for any of my avid Hunger Games trilogy readers out there you know that this scene is supposed to be filled with emotion.
Also during the victory tour Peeta and Katniss were not seen sleeping together every night on the train like they were in the book which is also a major lovey point in the novel. Even how they started being friends again was different. In the Lionsgate movie they talk in the back compartment of the train but in the book Peeta stops the train to run away from her and get space and then Haymitch tells Katniss to fix it. That is way more romantic and cute but Lawrence did not add that into his movie either. So overall Peeta and Katniss's relationship could use a lot more work in MockingJay part 1 if Lawrence is planning on having any of that work.
The only other thing that was left out that made me sad was Haymitch's Hunger Games video. That was one of my favorite parts of the book because you get insight into a character and you see how similar him and Katniss are. It is a bonding moment for her with him and it would have been amazing to see. I will post a fan-made version of his hunger games very soon.
Overall though this movie was FANTASTIC! It was a ton more accurate then the first movie. It did not feel like a 2 and 1/2 hour movie! I saw the midnight premiere and when i looked at my watch as I was standing up and saw 2:45 i was aghast because it did not feel like i was there for that long.
The graphics were fantastic and the setting and scenes were amazing.
If you have not seen this movie find a way to see it!!! It was an amazing way to spend my money and I would have sat back down and watched it again if they had another showing that night!

All of these are new pictures either from the film, deleted scenes, or from behind the scenes photos and they all fire me up for the new movie Catching Fire! I cannot wait for how they are going to leave the end of the movie for those who have read the books! I cannot wait to see all of the new costuming that is being done and all of the new special affects being done by the same person who did them for the Avengers! This is exciting and I hope you are all getting very excited for the Hunger Games: Catching Fire!

Hunger Games: Catching Fire News

We now have 102 days until the Hunger Games: Catching Fire and I am getting fired up! There are not many days left and the information on the movie has come pouring in! There are interviews and new versions of the trailer that is featured above. Just today I read in the magazine "Entertainment" about how the new director, Francis Lawrence, is a Hunger Games book series nerd so he is just like the rest of us in the way that he wants a real rendition of the book! He is also a very qualified last minute director because he has done this with Will Smith's I Am Legend. Well I hope you all are very excited about this upcoming movie! Only 102 days away!!!

Catching Fire Trailer

Soooooooo! Catching Fire Trailer! This is HUGE! Was anyone else surprised how much better this movie seems! They do not give anything huge away! I was actually blown away when I saw this because it looks one million times more accurate than the first movie! I am now soooo much more excited for the movie that is coming out in 219 days and 1 hour!!! So excited Here is the video! I love the part at the end with the exchange between President Snow and Plutchark when Snow calls the Victors another species that must be eradicated and how it hints at that other large thing that I am not going to ruin for those of you who have not read the book! Yes sooo excited! leave comments about your thoughts and feelings below!!! Oh I also thought it was quite amazing how over the course of a day 15,132,152 people have watched the Youtube video of the trailer! The movie is only 219 days and 1 hour away! Happy waiting!!!
